Read & Reviewed #14

Now that I've finished uni (forever eek!) I've had some time on my hands to squeeze in more reading around work. So here is what I thought of the last 3 books that I read!

Everyone and their grandma is talking about this book right now. I've actually had this for ages but after I saw the trailer for the film I thought I would eventually read it before I see it. It was great to imagine Sam Claflin as Will (I love him!) and Emilia Clarke as Lou (I love her too!). Will is injured in a motorbike accident which leads to Lou being hired as his carer, she's tries to bring the joy back to his life. You'll laugh and definitely cry but it's a must read!

If you're a fan of thrillers, this one is a must! I absolutely loved this book, it was full of twists and turns, super descriptive and was a real page turner. Based around Jenna and something terrible that changes her life forever, so she relocates to the Welsh coast in a remote cottage, but her past soon catches up with her!

This is the 5th Peter Grant book, I always go on about how much I love this series and this one might be my favourite! I like to think of it as a grown up, rude, urban Harry Potter! Long story short, Peter is in an offshoot of the MET being trained as a magician, this story takes him into the countryside after the disappearance of two children. I love the humour in these books, I'd highly recommend them, they're nothing like anything I've ever read!

  1. Thanks for the book choices. I've read both I let you go and Me before you (again, because everyone was readying) But thank you for the other one, I look forward to reading that one.

  3. I love these types of posts, I actually published one yesterday. It was interesting to hear what books you’ve been loving. I read Me Before You last year and enjoyed it. I think it would have been cool to imagine the characters from the film like you mentioned, I’m still yet to see the film although I’m pretty sure I’m going to buy it on DVD when it comes out. The final book you mentioned intrigued me and was something I hadn’t come across before. :-) xx
