Review | Urban Decay Gwen Stefani Blush Palette

As I unwrapped this heavy little package on my birthday and revealed the shiny gold packaging I could hear the hallelujah chorus! I've been lusting after the Urban Decay Gwen Stefani Blush Palette since it was released and my lovely boyfriend bought me it for my birthday! The palette retails at £35 which for 6 shades of blush, bronzer and highlighter I think is super reasonable. Urban Decay haven't ever hit a bum note for me, their eyeshadows are my all-time favourite and their blushers haven't let me down! I really like the packaging, I've definitely got that thing where lots of circles make you feel uneasy but I still like this!

The shades are Cherry (light pink satin), Easy (deep rose with gold shimmer), Angel (champagne-nude shimmer), Lo-Fi (soft bronze matte), Hush (medium pink with gold shimmer) and OC (soft pink with peach shift). I've been super impressed with all of the shades, I didn't include swatches as I've seen them everywhere! The blushes are super wearable, really blendable, and apply really well. They're super finely milled and they're creamy in the same way their eyeshadows are. I found the highlight shades to be super glowy and have just the right about of shimmer. The bronzer is maybe a little too orange for me, weird when Gwen is super pale! Overall I'm so pleased with this palette and if you can still get your hands on it I'd definitely recommend it!

  4. Lusting over this blush palette so much at the moment but cannot justify it at all. Gwen's really pale faced but the rest of her complexion is actually closer to olive tone (guess being Italian American and all) so I never know what will suit me. I have one of the lipsticks in Firebird and I love it it.
