5 Places to Eat in London

I decided to start a little series of foodie recommendations from places around the world I've visited. I've mentioned before that I think blogs always have the best recommendations, places that are a bit different, delicious and not super touristy. I've already posted about my Amsterdam and Paris recommendations so I thought I would do one one London.

Smack Lobster (from the same family as Burger & Lobster) was somewhere that I wanted to visit ages before I went to London, theres something about lobster rolls that just speak to me! This little place off of Oxford Street (I think!) is super yummy, great for lunch. Me and my boyfriend both went for the classic lobster roll, although there are a few options. My boyfriend also got the lobster chowder and I got the courgette fries, definitely one to visit!

2. Inamo

Again this is another one I really wanted to visit, here at Inamo the tables are interactive, you order your food and drinks on a touch pad projected onto the table. Honestly it's so cool! You can change the designs and even play games and order a taxi. Not only that but this Soho restaurant (I think there is a new one in Covent Garden) has delicious Asian food and gorgeous cocktails, not one to miss!

I know now why The Breakfast Club gets hyped up so much, it really is that good! There are a few branches around London, I would die if they ever bought it up here! People do say be prepared to wait at the weekend but luckily when we visited the Hoxton branch through the week there wasn't a queue. The veggie options here are really good too!

This one is probably the most touristy out of all of my picks but I couldn't not put it in! It's a definite visit for those who watch the show, it really is as magical inside as you'd think! The shop is gorgeous and the chocolate is way overpriced (obviously!). The cafe is surprisingly decent value for money, we decided on milkshakes and a dipping plate each, you can choose what type of chocolate you want and get a gorgeous plate full of treats to dip it in! We were stuffed!

After seeing Duck and Waffle on numerous London based blogs, I knew it would be a special place to get breakfast on my boyfriend's birthday. It's worth it just for the amazing views across London. Again it is expensive here, but the food was delicious, the service and atmosphere was great, I'd definitely give it a visit!
