Another little Read & Reviewed post today, I feel like considering I'm back at uni I've still been ploughing my way through books that I've wanted to read for ages! So I thought I'd tell you what I thought of these last three!
Attachments by Rainbow Rowell - 4/5
Set in a newspaper office in 1999, Lincoln's job is to monitor employee's emails, he doesn't plan on falling in love with Beth, whose emails to Jennifer he reads on a regular basis. I actually really enjoyed this book, I liked the way the scene was set and the character development, the pace of the book was good, I don't know what it is about Rainbow Rowell's books, I enjoy them but never end up giving them a 5!
Night Owls by Jenn Bennett - 5/5
After meeting Jack on the Owl (San Fransisco's Night Bus), Beatrix's world is turned upside down. Not giving too much away, I thought this book was great, again the scene was set really well, there was never a dull moment in this book and the characters felt really relatable. Would definitely recommend!
Broken Homes by Ben Aaronovitch - 5/5
This is the 4th book in the Peter Grant series, which I like to call naughty Harry Potter set in London, Peter is an officer in the MET and also a magicians apprentice, I always make is sound rubbish but it isn't at all! Again like the others in the series, I loved this one, I won't ramble on about it, but I'd recommend the whole series 1 million percent !
Night Owls is one I have sat in my Amazon basket right now, I'm so glad you think it's worth a read! x
