Boxing Day Sales Haul

If you know me, you'll know I love a sale! I go on all the time about how much I love a bargain so shopping the sales is a personal favourite of mine. This year I did all of my Boxing Day sale shopping online (apart from a sneaky visit to Boots & TK Maxx). Obviously again this year Lush's website couldn't handle all of the traffic and was barely working, although I'd already prepared with a list of the gift sets I would look for. I always feel they're better value and there were a few products I didn't get around to buying this year. Luckily after a good 20 minutes of refreshing and crashing etc, my order finally went through!

I ended up buying the Merry Christmas Gift Set, which included Cinders, Golden Wonder, Peeping Santa, Lord of Misrule and Dashing Santa, which was only £9! Such a bargain! I also picked up the It's Christmas Deer Gift Set. It was definitely the tin that sold me on this, I absolutely love it! The products in here were The Magic of Christmas Reusable Bubble Bar, Golden Wonder Bath Bomb, Karma Kream Hand & Body Lotion, Beautiful Shower Gel and Sowcake Soap. This was only £13, again such a good bargain!

My next purchase was the First Aid Beauty Holiday Cheers Gift Set which I purchased for £24 from Feelunique, the value of the set is over £60! I've used a couple of FAB products before and really liked them, so when I was in the market for a couple of new skincare products I thought this set sounded great! In the set you get an Ultra Repair Cream (170g), Face Cleanser (56.7g), Skin Rescue Purifying Mask (90g) and an Ultra Repair Lip Therapy (14.8ml).

Another couple of products I picked  up in the sales was this super cute mug from Boots with biscuit illustrations on and a biscuit pocket for £4 down from £8, I couldn't resist, I've always wanted a mug with a biscuit pocket! I also picked up some things from TK Maxx, who don't really have sale but have plenty of clearance items after Christmas! I picked up a gorgeous holiday candle in the scent Frosted Cookies for £5, which smells amazing! I'll put that away for next year! I also picked up a Love Listography book for just £3.99! I've got the travel version of this already and it was loads more expensive in Urban Outfitters!

Did you pick up anything nice in the sales?

  1. I gave up with the Lush website, especially after last year when they cancelled my entire order two weeks after it had been placed. I almost wish I'd gone to a store, they always have some amazing items on offer!
