Drugstore Haul & New Releases | February 2015

It feels like ages since I had a splurge in the drugstore, also I had £22 on my Boots card to spend so why not! I picked up some things I've been eyeing for a while and some new releases that I'd heard really good things about. There was 3 for 2 on Bourjois, £1 off the Collection palette and a free gift worth £27 when you spend over £15 on Max Factor.

Bourjois Healthy Balance Powder - £8.99 - I've almost finished my Rimmel Stay Matte powder and I've heard people rave about this so I thought I would give it a go!

Bourjois Colorband in Mauve Baroque & Rose Fauviste - £5.99 each - It was 3 for 2 on all Bourjois products and these new eyeshadows/liners really caught my eye since I first heard about them, I can't wait to give them a try, they looked gorgeous when I swatched them in store!

Barry M - Basecoat Topcoat & Nail Hardener All in One - £2.99 - I've been in the market for some new nail care and when I saw this all in one I thought I had to give it a try, amazing for the price, I hope it's good!

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer - £4.19 - Just stocking up on my favourite concealer, I've been using the Rimmel Wake Me Up concealer lately, but the coverage just isn't as good!

Collection Eyes Uncovered Nude Palette - £2.99 - Another new release that I've heard really good things about, this palette comes in 3 shades, the shades look lovely and I've heard for the price they're nicely pigmented, bendable and have good colour payout.

Max Factor Colour Corrector Stick - £8.99 - This is something I've been wanting to try for a while, I picked up the green shade for redness as I do get some redness on my face. There are so many shades to remedy different problems, I would definitely pick up another if it turns out well.

Max Factor Creme Puff Blush in Lovely Pink - £8.99 - The final new release and I fell in love with these blushes as soon as I saw them. They're baked and the colours are gorgeous! There are 6 in the range and I swatched them all in store, it was a struggle to choose! I went for Lovely Pink, a pinky peach with gold shimmery flecks.

Max Factor Coming Up Rosy Free Gift - This is one of the best deals I've seen in a long time! Spend £15 on Max Factor and get a gift worth £27 with 3 full size products! In here you get a False Lash Effect 24 Mascara in Black - £11.99, Colour Elixir Lipstick in Star Dust Pink - £7.99 and finally a Glossfinity Nail Polish in Pink'ed - £5.99. Such a good free gift, get yours while you can!

Have you tried any of these products?

  2. Such lovely picks. I recently picked up the Collection concealer and the Rose Bourjois shadow stick. Looking forward to giving them a whirl. I have the Maxfactor CC stick for tackling under-eye circles and I was super impressed. I'd be interested to see how you get on with the green one. xx
