August Favourites

Can Summer seriously be over? I'm sad although I do love Autumn where the boots and scarves and chunky knits can come out to play! Anyway here are my top picks for the month of August! Starting with my number one favourite new discovery the Soap & Glory Smoothie Star Breakfast Scrub, here for £8.00. I can't rave enough about this product, the smell is out of this world, it's made with bananas, almond and honey extracts and has a maple scent. The scrub gets rid of dry skin so well and leaves my skin nice and smooth, I can't rate this highly enough!

Next I picked a Rimmel Apocalips Lip Lacquer in the shade Celestial, here for £6.49. I honestly love the formula of these, they are sticky and glossy at first but dry really quickly and leave your lips with a creamy sheen with massively pigmented colour. The staying powder is fab and this shade is a gorgeous nude with pink tones.

Next a hair product and it is the Lee Stafford Treatment for Hair that Never Grows Past a Certain Length, here for £7.99. This treatment is one of my all time favourites, having bleached hair means it takes it ages to grow. This treatment is really nourishing and hydrating. The consistency is really nice, not too runny, the smell is great and it does what it says on the tin!

Onto the Urban Decay All Night Setting Spray, I have the travel size, here for £9.00. I've been obsessed with this since I bought it, it keeps makeup on so well! I was dubious at first but it really does work, I use a spray after I've done my base and then again when I've finished. The texture isn't sticky at all, the smell is nice and I would definitely recommend trying it!

Finally I have a Jemma Kidd Cheek Colour in the shade Guava, which unfortunately you can't buy anymore, I picked this up at an outlet store! It's a cream blush and the formula is really nice, blends really well and the shade is a gorgeous bright pink without being too in your face!

  1. I've been dying to try the Urban Decay All Night Setting Spray, but I just didn't think it would work. Maybe I should give it a go, the fact that it comes in a travel size is great, I wont have to invest. Loved this post.
