Review | Marc Jacobs Lust for Lacquer

I was so excited when I found out Marc Jacobs was releasing a makeup range. Although I knew it was probably out of my price range and wouldn't be widely available in the UK. But a couple of months ago I was lucky enough to win a Lust for Lacquer in a giveaway! I have the shade Boom Boom which retails at $28. Lets start with the packaging which I am obsessed with! It's sleek and gorgeously designed, would you expect anything less from Marc Jacobs? His perfume bottles are works of art! When you open the lid the wand kind of pops up by itself which amused a simpleton like me! While we're talking about the wand, it's a great feel, size and shape, it gets just enough product onto it. The formula of the lip lacquer is lovely, although quite sticky I found it to dry onto my lips quickly but still retaining the shine. The shade Boom Boom is a gorgeous fuchsia with subtle shimmer. I found this product to me long wearing, I ate and drank with it on and only needed one touch up all day. I'm really impressed with this product, it's amazing, but for the price, it's what you would expect!

Have you tried anything from the Marc Jacobs makeup range?

  4. This looks lovely. I'm a fan of the packaging. I have never tried anything from the Marc Jacobs makeup range but I have a MAC Mineralize Glass lip gloss in Fashion Perk, that looks like it could be a dupe for this! xxx
