North East Visits | Brockbushes Fruit Picking Farm

Last weekend me and my boyfriend took at trip to Brockbushes Fruit Picking Farm, just outside of Corbridge Northumberland. It's a place we'd been meaning to go for ages, but being near the end of the season it was a bit slim pickings! But that didn't stop us, it was a lovely sunny day! You pay a £1 deposit and then pick as much fruit as you want, they had blackberries, strawberries, raspberries, gooseberries, blackcurrants and redcurrants. We filled up our large basket and only paid £4. We had lunch at their tearoom which was lovely and reasonably priced, I had a scone with jam and cream and a pot of tea (I'm a nana) and my boyfriend had a hunters chicken panini with a strawberry milkshake. They also have a little farm shop. Overall I thought this was a really nice day out and I would definitely recommend visiting!

  1. I've been dying to go here ever since I moved to the North East, the cakes look amazing and I haven't been fruit picking since I was a kid so it's definitely somewhere I want to get to as soon as possible!

  2. We love Brockbushes. We went last summer on a red hot day and it was gorgeous. The kids loved it too.
