Mini Boots & Primark Haul

As usual 3 for 2 at Boots is far too tempting, even if I just go in specifically for one thing, I always convince myself that I'm losing out if I don't take up the 3 for 2 offer, especially now since it's across all makeup products!

My first purchase is Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation, £8.99 here at Boots. For a while I have been using Benefit's Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow Foundation, but I'm am trying to save my money and at £25.50 I can't justify it anymore! I wanted to try a foundation I haven't used before and had heard mostly good things about the Wake Me Up Foundation.

Next I have L'Oreal Paris Lumi Magique Primer, £9.99 here at Boots. I have been wanting to try a new primer for a while, I have been using Rimmel Match Perfection Fix & Perfect Primer. Although this primer did keep my makeup on well I hated the smell and consistency of it. I really liked the look of the Lumi Magique Primer. I tested it on my hand and it had a lovely dewy almost shimmery finish, really can't wait to try this out.

Finally I eventually got round to buying Revlon Colourburst Matte Balm, £7.99 here at Boots. I went for the colour Audacious. After seeing this product literally everywhere I really wanted to give it a go. I chose the matte as opposed to the lacquer as I really don't like having sticky lips. I had been wanting and orange/coral lip colour for a while now and Audacious seemed like the perfect choice!

I will be reviewing all of these products in the coming weeks so stay tuned!

My first purchase from Primark was this patterned day dress. I am going to see Drake in Manchester tomorrow and really wanted a casual dress that I could wear with black tights, my leather jacket and black patent cut out boots. I really like this dress and at £8.00 you can't complain!

I have also been on the hunt for a cushion to put on my new stool with my dressing table. I think that the homeware section in Primark has improved massively recently (as has Primark generally) and I fell in love with this cushion when I saw it. I'm a photography student so this cushion is so me! I love the design. It's really soft and comfy and it was only £5.00, so pleased with it!
