February Favourites

These are a few items that I have picked out that I am absolutely loving this month!

Benefit they're real! Mascara- £19.50
Benefit Total Moisture Facial Cream- £27.50
L'Occitane En Provence Ultra Rich Body Cream- £32.00
Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion- £16.00
Marc Jacobs Honey Perfume- £46.99
Lush Mint Julips Lip Scrub- £5.50

Marc Jacobs Honey Perfume- This is the first Marc Jacobs fragrance that I have used and straight away I totally fell in love with it. If his other fragrances are as nice as this one I will definitely be purchasing them. This fragrance is described as sunny, delicious and floral. The perfect mix of brightness and warmth, I totally agree with this description. The scent is very sweet but with floral undertones. I absolutely love it! I got this for Christmas in a gift set with body lotion and shower gel and they are also very nice, with the same lovely scent.

Lush Mint Julips Lip Scrub- I chose this for my February Favourites as I think of it as an absolute godsend. In the cold weather I find my lips do get very dry. I have never used a lip scrub before, only vaseline, chapsticks etc, so I was a tad skeptical but I had heard really good things so I decided to give it a go. You just apply the scrub to the lips then rub them together to buff away the dead skin. I think that this scrub is very effective and leaves your lips very soft. The best thing about this lip scrub is that you can lick off any excess as it is mainly sugar based. The mint flavour tastes great! I will definitely be purchasing some more lip scrubs from Lush.

Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion- This is the first eyelid primer I have used, my skin can be dry as opposed to oily so I find my eyeshadow stays on quite well anyway. However again I had heard good things about this so I gave it a go. This primer does give a really good base for applying your eyeshadow and I do find that the staying power is improved. I think it is really easy to apply and will definitely be buying it again when I run out.

Benefit they're real! Mascara- I can't even count the amount of mascaras I have tried in the past, before this I was using Mac Opulash Optimum but decided I wanted a change. I really love this mascara, I have very small natural lashes and I find it really gives me the length, if I had a criticism it would be that it does take a few coats to really build up the length, but I do feel it's worth it. I like trying out different mascaras but I will definitely return to this one in the future.

Benefit Total Moisture Facial Cream- My skin gets very dry in the winter and in the past I have tried a number of different face moisturisers none of which really worked for my skin. I had heard good things about this moisturiser so I splashed out and tried it. I have fallen in love with this moisturiser, I know it's quite expensive at £27.50 however the jar is quite big and a little goes a long way. I don't feel as bad paying a lot for something when it's going to last me a while. This cream has improved my skin loads, after using it everyday I noticed a real difference very quickly. My skin is very soft and I also think the scent of the cream is very nice.

L'Occitane En Provence Ultra Rich Body Cream- I am a big fan of L'Occitane En Provence and I got this body cream in a gift set for Christmas, along with shampoo, conditioner, hand cream, foot cream and soap. This cream came highly recommended in the shop for dry skin which I get in the winter. I really like this cream for putting on after a shower or bath, I think the consistency is great and not runny like other body moisturisers can be. This cream definitely improved my dry skin and also smells lovely. I do find that some of their products smell very floral which I'm not too keen on, but this one doesn't.

I hope you enjoyed reading about my February Favourites and I would love to hear about yours!
